Characteristic of HCPE
- With good chemical stability, chemical resistance, and it’s corrosion resistance is higher than Vinylidene Chloride. chlorosulfonated polyethylene 1 or 2 times.
- Excellent resistance to aging and weather resistance.
- Good adhesion
- It’s flame retardant property is very good and gas defense ,mould proof.
With good electrical isolation, compatibility and Free coloration.
MAIN APPLICATION OF HCPE
1. Application in Coating Field:
◆Anticorrosive paint: the important anticorrosive paint for bridge, steel-frame structure, chemical equipment, saltworks, fishworks, with rust-anti-corrosion primer, paint for piping.
◆ Marine paint:(including inside and outside)primer of carbin and for decoraction.
◆ Fire retardant coating—including the outside of wood and steel structure
◆ Architectural coating—the outside of buildings and primer of concrete.
◆ Ocean painting—including container, marine platform, and wharf
◆ Painting for airport, road and guidepost.
2. Other application:
◆ It can be the adhesive for pvc products.
◆ Fire retardant for paper and fibre.
◆ Anti-High Temperature Resin Modifier for chloroprene rubber adhesive and NBR.
Classification of HCPE
HCPE is one kind of high-molecular polymer after PE’s Depth chlorination. It is white powder and no-toxic, no odor.
HCPE resin can be made into high viscosity HCPE(HCPE-A,HCPE-B), middle viscosity HCPE(HCPE-M), low viscosity HCPE(HCPE-L) according to the size of PE molecular weight and difference of chlorination process. High viscosity HCPE(HCPE-A,HCPE-B) is used mainly for producing adhesives(glue), middle viscosity HCPE(HCPE-M) and low viscosity HCPE(HCPE-L) is mainly used for producing anticorrosive coatings and ink.
Product Packaging
This product adopts polyethylene bags for internal use and polypropylene bags for external use with net weight of 20 ± 0.1kg per bag.
Storage and Transportation
This product should be stored in dry and ventilated warehouse, stacking height should not be more than 10 bags, preventing sunlight and moisture. This product should use clean and covered transportation, preventing the sun, rain and heating. This product is non-dangerous goods.
